• Created our own build scripts, which:
  -> Download packages
  -> Install them (chroot)
  -> Create modules
  -> Build the CD
  -> And several other things
• Upgraded to dropline Gnome 2.14.1
• Moved packages around
• Included NJam
• Included Ruby
• Added AppArmor due to request
• Fixed broken auto-mounting support
• Added more bookmarks, and a few browser mods
• Changed initrd in for a ramfs (RAM bood disk)
• Did we mention the build system? It will make the next release easier

November 8, 2005 (0.3 Beta):

• Installed clean installation of Slackware 10.2
• Installed dropline Gnome 2.12.1
• Used most of the custom scripts from the previous release
• Added auto-mounting support for partitions
• Added a more comprehensive set of boot scripts
• Used a customized version of the linux-live scripts to make the CD
• Removed Java runtime and KDE support (sorry, needed the space)
• Optimized the boot process
• Added some code samples and browser bookmarks for programmers
• Lots of little things

April 11, 2005 (0.2 Beta):

• Upgraded Dropline to 2.10
• Sound drivers are included
• Python works out-of-the-box
• Removed some non-essential KDE components
• Added two console IRC clients -- irssi and epic
• At boot, F2 and F3 keys really work as advertised
• Live-cd should be ejected when shutting down system
• Modified some menu items to run as root (Ethereal for example)
• Added "console" kernel parameter to prevent automatic boot into Gnome
• Internationalized the live-cd with "lang=XX" and "locale=XX_XX" kernel parameters
• Menu-driven launch of Apache and SSH servers (and related firewall modifications)
